Our Family Rooms are set with a double and single bed into which we can place an additional fold away single bed and / or cot. We also offer a number of interconnecting rooms which are suitable for families with older children who they may wish have them stay in separate but accessible accommodation.

A babysitting service is available throughout the day. This can be booked at reception in advance on lo—call 1850 366 000. We aim to ensure that your children are well looked after whilst you relax and enjoy dinner in our Meridian Restaurant or a drink in the Westwood Bar.

The Westwood Hotel, Galway city is involved with the IHF's Food for Kids programme.

"Ideal family location, comfortable and welcoming"

The staff at the Westwood were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with plenty of space to keep our four year old busy. Located close to Galway city centre and Salthill it is an ideal place to stay.

The attention to detail and consideration for families was excellent, with little extras like movies and popcorn, boardgames, and a games console in the room to keep the kids entertained means the adults get to relax!
