“Amazing....best wedding I've ever been to”
We were at this hotel for my cousins wedding and what a fantastic hotel!! The wedding reception was probably the best I have ever been to, The hotel is lovely, the food was fantastic, the service outstanding!!!
We stayed for two nights so the evening after the wedding we were booked in on a dinner bed and breakfast rate I have never seen so much food the only negative was we were too full to eat it all and we were still to full for breakfast the following morning!!"

"My wife and I celebrated our wedding in the Westwood house hotel on the 29th April 2011.
Over the space of 6 months we had searched and visited almost every hotel in Galway city and county as well as all over Connemara and without doubt the best reception we received upon entering all of these hotels were from Dave and his staff (and this was only the first meeting). Dave and his staff made us feel like we were the most important wedding they ever had in their hotel. As a result we booked the venue the very first visit along with over 30 rooms for 3 nights given the large volume of guests traveling.
Over the next 12 months the professionalism, care, patience & attention to detail shown by Dave and his staff was world class. Numerous queries (Daily) from us were answered by the hotel with a smile which made our jobs so much easier. Nothing was impossible according to this hotel. There are too many positives to mention about this hotel but here are a few for anyone that is deciding whether to use this hotel as their wedding venue i.e:
- Exceptional food quality for exceptional value for money (many of our guests left the room after the wedding meal to compliment the hotel at reception)
- There were VIP welcome packages in the rooms of all our families when they booked in - Wine, Chocolate etc.
- The staff. I can not speak highly enough about them.
I have visited some of the worlds top 5 star hotels through my work and i can honestly say the the best customer service, professionalism and value for money & food i have seen has been from the Westwood house hotel. It is inevitable and not very far away that the Westwood will get their 5th Star.
