Award win for the Westwood Hotel

The Four Star Westwood Hotel in Galway City has been awarded a Special Merit Award by the more than 6,000 Customers of CIE Tours International which passed through its doors during 2009.

Criteria on which the hotel was judged for the award included Accommodation, Breakfast, Dinner, Service & Overall Impression of the hotel. 

The Special Merit Award is given to those properties who achieve a Customer Satisfaction Rating of in excess of 90%.

Speaking at the presentation of the Award Dave Kelly, General Manager paid tribute to the hard work & excellence of his team.  “The guests of CIE Tours International traditionally demand the very best levels of comfort, service & food and to receive such an award from them is testament to each member of staff with whom they come in contact and indeed to those who work behind the scenes”

The hotel will celebrate the award wins with a staff evening in their Sister property Busker Brownes of Cross Street.
