	The Westwood Hotel awarded Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence Award 2013. The Westwood Hotel, Galway recently announced that it has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award. The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Approximately 10 percent of accommodations listed onTripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.

	Connacht Rugby. Connacht Rugby is the regional professional rugby team for the West of Ireland region. The home grounds for Connaught Rugby are located at The Sportsground in College Road which is just a short 10 drive from The Westwood and a short stroll from Galway city centre. Connacht are in both the Heineken Cup and the Rabo Direct Pro 12 Rugby competitions this season.
