4th Annual Wedding Fair

The ever popular Four Star Westwood Hotel in Galway City will host it’s 4th Annual “Weddings At The Westwood" Wedding Fair on Sunday February 5th 2012 between the hours of 2.00pm to 6.00pm.

The hotel is celebrating having recently been short-listed in the “Best Wedding Venue” section in the weddingsonline.ie Awards 2012 and the afternoon is sure to be a must for those engaged couples who have, or who are considering, booking the hotel for their upcoming Wedding Reception. This year’s Fair will also see the official launch of the Westwood’s “Live Guestlink” – a first for a hotel in Ireland this facility offers every Bride & Groom the chance to broadcast their speeches to absent family & friends live on their own live-stream private website.

Led on the day by the hotel General Manager, Dave Kelly, the fair will offer couples a great opportunity to meet the experienced team at the Westwood & to visit many of Galway’s finest wedding suppliers including photographers, florists, stationary suppliers and many many more.

The beautifully appointed Richard Martin Banqueting Suite with its welcoming open fireplace will be set out as per a wedding day so this makes it an ideal afternoon to call in and view all that this beautiful facility has to offer.

Civil ceremonies are a particular speciality of the Westwood and advice can be given on the day as to possible layouts for the smaller and less formal wedding day.

Admission is free of charge and several prize draws will take place on the evening.

Couples attending will also have the opportunity to sample some of the delicious canapes and fine wines that they may wish to have as part of their reception.

The well known Catwalk Modeling agency will perform a bridal fashion show at 4.00pm which will be accompanied by live music and preceded by a live dance troupe performance.
